Sweeney Todd

 Got a couple of free movie passes so i used them to see the new Sweeney Todd movie tonight. I was impressed. Tim Burton really knows how to use Johnny Depp and Depp has a supprisingly good singing voice.  Both Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (Mrs. Lovette) are kind of sexy in a gothic victorian way. Wish i could pull off that look. The movie stays pretty close to the original if a little darker, in my opinion. I'd highly recomend seeing it, though if you're squeemish about blood you might want to close your eyes durning some sceens.
