Icecream notes
Oct. 5th, 2008 10:20 am last night i made applepie icecream. I cut the sugar down to 1/2 cup, added a few spoonfulls of apple pie filling and some crushed up grandcrackers. Probably my best batch yet. Think next i'm going to try a plain vanella batch with just whole milk, no whipping cream. Whipping cream is expensive, if i can cut it out and still get decent icecream, it will cut down on the expense quite a bit.
