Reminds me a lot of the huy that show had a couple years ago. An older guy, I think he worked a trade, I forget exactly. Anyway, he wasn't the "standard" beauty (if there is such a thing) and he said his dream was to sing opera. Just like this one, the crowd laughed but when he sang - holy mackerel! What an amazing voice! I think he went on to actually win the show if I recall!
